(c) Reiner Mnich

Kerstin Preiwuss was born in 1980 in Lübz and now lives with her family in Leipzig where she works as a freelance writer. She studied German, Philosophy and Psychology in Leipzig and Aix-en-Provence, gained her doctorate with a thesis on German-Polish place-names and is a graduate of the German Literature Institute and a member of German PEN. She has published several novels and collections of poetry, most recently Taupunkt (Berlin Verlag, 2016).
