Daniel Falb, Germany

Daniel Falb, born 1977 in Kassel, is a poet and philosopher. He works on geophilosophy, cultural evolution theory and poetological questions. Following Anthropozän. Dichtung in der Gegenwartsgeologie (Anthropocene: Poetry in Contemporary Geology) (Verlagshaus Berlin, 2015) his essay Geospekulationen. Metaphysik für die Erde im Anthropozän (Geospeculations: Metaphysics for the Earth in the Anthropocene) was published by Merve in early 2019. In his latest collection Orchidee und Technofossil (kookbooks, 2019) the individual stands at the centre of global, geopolitical and geochronological questions and is constantly confronted with them. Falb lives and works in Berlin.
