Daniel Bayerstorfer, Germany

Daniel Bayerstorfer, born 1989 in Gräfelfing, lives and works in Munich. He writes poetry and prose and is a translator and literature disseminator. His first collection Gegenklaviere was published by Hochrot Verlag in 2017, followed in 2019 by Die Erfindung des Rußn (together with Tobias Roth) from Aphaia Verlag. He teaches Creative Writing for schoolchildren and students at the Munich Literaturhaus. He is also the co-organiser of the Munich reading series ‘meine drei lyrischen ichs’ and the Großer Tag der Jungen Münchner Literatur festival which started in 2015. He is currently writing his first novel.
