Asmus Trautsch, Germany

Asmus Trautsch lives and works as a philosopher and poet in Berlin. He studied Philosophy, German Literature and Composition and Theory of Music in Berlin and London, gaining his doctorate in Philosophy from the Humboldt University of Berlin. Asmus Trautsch has taught Philosophy and Creative Writing at various universities in Germany and the USA. Fellowships and awards have taken him to such institutions as Columbia University New York, Allegheny College and the Akademie Schloss Solitude. He edits the Edition Poeticon series for Berliner Verlagshaus.
