Sandra Rosas

Sandra Rosas, born 1977 in the State of Estado de México, is an author and poet. She studied Latin American Literature at the Autonomous University of Mexico and has worked as a reporter, columnist and editor. She left Mexico in 2004 to live and work in Berlin. She gained a Masters Degree in Latin American Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and is currently writing about the murders of women in Ciuadad Juárez. She is also the author of the blog Palabrasbajo mi custodia and a radio programme with the same title. Her first bilingual collection of poems, Blinde Pupillen (Blind Pupils), was published in 2019 by KLAK Verlag.
