Tomás Cohen is a Chilean writer and translator based in Berlin. He studied Musicology and Art at the Catholic University of Chile, Art History at New York University and translation of Tibetan at the International Buddhist Academy in Kathmandu, Nepal. He then followed on to a Master’s degree in Tibetan Philology at the University of Hamburg. Cohen was a scholarship holder of the Pablo Neruda Foundation and worked as the Chilean editor of Asymptote Journal. As a founding member of the writers collective Found in Translation, he co-organizes the Hafenlesung in Hamburg, a series of multilingual poetry and prose recitals. He has published the books Redoble del ronroneo (Buenos Aires Poetry, 2016) and Un árbol de luz íntima (Ediciones Bastante, 2019).
