Crauss, born 1971, lives in Siegen and works as a cultural pedagogist (including at the University of Siegen). He became known to a wider audience in the 1990s by bringing new productive procedures into poetry with a video clip aesthetic. Crauss has been promoted with major fellowships and awarded literary prizes. His poetry has been translated into more than ten languages. As well as popular culture essays and “spoken songs”, his latest publications are DIE HARTE SEITE DES HIMMELS (Verlagshaus Berlin, 2018) and SCHUNDFAKTOR (Verlag Dreiviertelhaus, 2018). www.crauss.de
