The SelbstVERSuche in May explore the actuality and historical continuity of queer lifestyles in poetry. Homoerotic love was almost the only amorous subject even in Persian Ghazal poetry; from Shakespeare to Stein and from Rumi to Dickinson great poets have dedicated some of their finest poems to their own sex. In this workshop participants can explore in joint writing experiments guided by poet and cultural educator Crauss shyness and self-confidence in the poetic expression of bromance, best friends forever fantasies and drooling over your own sex. The event is taking place as a webinar with associated e-learning elements.
