Maya Kuperman

Maya Kuperman was born in Israel. She studied General and Comparative Literature and Gender Studies at the University of Tel Aviv. Her poetry collection Mother Tongue, published in Israel in 2007, was awarded the the Israeli Minister of Education and Culture Award. Her poems have been translated into German, English, French and Portuguese. She has lived in Berlin since 2011 and is working on her second collection.
