Yunus, Germany

Yunus, alias Johannes Berger, was born in 1994 in Istanbul and grew up in Munich. His path led him through a successful Poetry Slam career, then he studied jazz viola. Johannes Berger does Hip-Hop with German lyrics and, well, a viola. This rapper and viola player constructs acoustive, lyrical worlds, only to tear them down again, skilfully sounds out boundaries far beyond any clichés and thus brings the sound of Hanover to the stage.
