Josepha Conrad, Germany

Josepha Conrad is a Berlin based musician and performer. She grew up in Frankfurt am Main and in Chicago. In 1998 she received an MFA in “Writing and Poetics” from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics. She has released four albums with her band Susie Asado: Hello Antenna (2008 lolila), Traffic Island (2010 KOOKmusic), Onward Aeropuerto (2011 KOOKmusic) and State of Undress (2015 popup records). Her concerts have taken her all over the United States, Canada, Europe, Argentina and China. She has shared the stage with many performers, artists, writers and musicians such as Veda Hille, Jeffrey Lewis and Kat Frankie.
