Anne Hattler, born 2002 in Freiburg, was already reading and writing a great deal of poetry, short stories and other stuff as a child. In 2018 she became interested in poetry and started writing poems. In 2019 she won second place in the Facharbeitswettbewerb essay competition of the Theology department in Bonn. Winning first prize in the British Council Germany’s schoolchildren’s poem competition won her a place in Young Poems. She is currently doing her Abitur exams in Cologne.
