Álvaro Seiça (1983, Portugal) is a Portuguese writer and researcher based in Bergen, Norway. He is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the University of Bergen, the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Coimbra, where he investigates the poetics and politics of erasure within the EU-funded project “The Art of Deleting.” Seiça holds a PhD in Digital Culture from UiB, with the thesis “setInterval(): Time-Based Readings of Kinetic Poetry” (2017). His publications include the poetry books Permafrost (2012), Ö (2014), upoesia (2019) and Supressão (2019). See alvaroseica.net
